Holiday 2010- Air Go LWP

Remember the Air Go LWP? Well, some of you are too young, but surely the OG Nike heads remember the Air Go LWP. Nike originally released the Air Go LWP in 1994, and after many years, they will return Holiday 2010.

Air Max CB34

Nike continues to retro your favorite kicks from the 90’s. In case you didn’t know, this particular sneaker was endorsed by Charles Barkley. This Sir Charles sig is not to be confused with this Air CB34. The second version also released as “Air CB34″, but was also referred to as the Air CB34 II. To avoid confusion, they will return Holiday 2010 as the Air Max CB34.

Price to be set at $160

Air More Uptempo

Today we continue to break news about retro’s that will return later on this year. Some of you didn’t remember the Air CB34 II and Air Go LWP, but most of you probably remember the Air More Uptempo, right? The Air More Uptempo is not to be confused with the Air Much Uptempo. Anyhow, the Air More Uptempo will return Holiday 2010.

December 1, 2010 Air Jordan 1 - Armor / Foamposite

Jason Mayden gave the attendees at “A Night With Jordan featuring Jason Mayden” in ATL an early look at the Foamposite Air Jordan 1.

There is no exact release date yet. But we will be sure to keep you posted.

November 1, 2010 Nike 1/2 Cent Eggplant + Cranberry

Holiday 2010 is going to be pretty intense for the footwear world. Nike has quite a few crowd favorites set to release during that time and one of those favorites is the Nike 1/2 Cent Eggplant and the Cranberry. We managed to get our hands on some new images, and I thought it was only right to share them with the KOF audience.
Both the Eggplant and the Cranberry give the Nike 1/2 Cent a very distinct look that is going to turn heads like crazy. That part that hurts the most is that we still don’t’ have a release date, but we do know that they are slated for the Holiday season. If you thought this summer was hot, wait until we hit November/December.

Air DT Max 96

We’re not sure what’s going on in Nike’s Retro department, but for some reason they have decided to bring back the Air DT Max 96 again. Nike retro’d the Air D.T. Max in both original colorways in 2007, and now both colorways will return Holiday 2010.
The Air Max DT is definitely a classic shoe from the Deion Sanders line, but why not retro the Air Diamond Turf II instead of releasing these again? Some things we will never know. Expect to see the Air DT Max 96 hit stores in October and November for $125. Heads up to all the Nike Trainer heads.

Nike Pearl Foamposite

It seems that as of late Foamposite has been spotted on several shoes in an attempt to harness the energy that the material creates but there is nothing like seeing a new pair of straight up Foamposite’s. So this pair of Nike Air Foamposite’s in Pearl should definitely be welcome around here.
The Pearl upper almost gives the shoe a glowing feel that is only aided by the translucent blue outsole while the black nubuck upper only makes the shoes finer points stand out more. These are slated to release later this year and surely racks of you will flock to stores.

Septembeer 18, 2010 Air Jordan 6 Rings - 3M (Metallic Silver / Light Graphite)

The Six Rings is a relatively new Jordan Brand mash-up, first arriving in classic Black/Red the summer of 2008. It combines features from the shoes that MJ wore on his way to winning six NBA championships: Air Jordan VI, VII, VIII, XI, XII, XIII and XIV. If you’re wondering why that’s 7 shoes and 6 championships, it’s because MJ broke out the XIV for two games in the ‘98 Finals, despite wearing the XIII all season long. The XIV ended up being the last Jordan model he wore on court.

The shoe are set to release at Foot Locker as well as other locations on Saturday, September 18th

Fall 2010- Nike Air Max Uptempo 97 Returns

There’s no reason to stress about kicks you slept on or sneakers your parents refused to buy in the 90’s because Nike’s Retro machine has you covered. When Nike first started to retro sneakers that were a big deal in the 90’s, we thought they were only going to retro a few classics, but it appears that they just might retro all the classics. Okay, so maybe the Air Max Uptempo 97 isn’t a classic in your book, but OG Nike b-ball heads might think differently.

The is about the return of the Air Max Uptempo 97. Not one, but two original colorways of the Air Max Uptempo 97 will return Fall 2010. Yeah, so the Air Max Uptempo 97 is coming back.

FLUL has just announced that the Jordan Retro 9 (IX), in a black/red colorway, will be hitting
store shelves on Saturday, September 4.

The sneaker features a black suede upper that is accented with red on the “23″, the Jordan logos, and the liner. For those that follow the Jordan 9, you know it was the first AJ marketed to a worldwide audience. Nike embraced this effort by marking up the outsole in different languages from Swahili to Spanish, describing MJ’s different attributes.

September 1, 2010 Air Jordan 9 - Charcoal

What’s a summer time cookout without the charcoal? Well the next one you attend if asked to help with the fire just show em a few pictures of this new Air Jordan 9 Charcoal that’s set to drop and surely things will heat up. Even if its just a heated debate on the state of the brand.

The color way hasn’t been released since 94 making this a serious rerelease but will it parallel the sought after Infrareds? Surely it will be compared since it falls so close on the heels of that slightly similar color way. Using both True Red and Dark Charcoal on the shoes upper it looks as if the Dark Charcoal suede used may be a slightly different shade but these aim to revive the vibe nonetheless. Who’s excited?

No exact release date is set. Although Air Jordan 9 is expected to be released in the month of September of 2010. Price to be set at $150.

August 28, 2010 Air Jordan Fusion 12 – Obsidian / White

The Air Jordan XII Fusion is set to drop again later this year but soon nonetheless. With that said we saw a few images of the shoe before but with the inclusion of them to the Kinstor site a few new images of the shoe have dropped.
These images give you a slightly better look at the shoe inspired by the only color way of the XII that Jordan never wore on the court. The details on these look great to say the least and this post is set to give you a better glimpse into what’s to come.
Price at $145.

August 14, 2010 Nike Air Force 1 - Foamposite (Metallic Silver / Black)

We showed you the teaser of the Nike
Air Force 1 “Foamposite”, it was received with mixed reviews. Some were really excited, while others thought it was just “okay”. Either way, when this shoe releases, I think KOF will have to get out the camping gear and head out to snatch some up.

In the detailed pics, we get to see the entire shoe and how the foamposite integrates with the design. As you can see, the foamposite gives the upper a very smooth upper that almost looks unreal. In place of the traditional stitching, Nike has opted to sculpt the foamposite to keep the line true to the original. Down below, a black midsole carries an Air Unit and matches the heel tab, lining, tongue, and lace stays. The final touch is an icy sole that give the bottom of the sneaker a light blue hue.

Its been comfirmed the AJ VII retro ‘Olympic/For The Love Of The Game’ will be releasing August 13th everywhere, but earlier release is August 7th internationally. The AJ 7 ‘Olmpic/For The Love Of The Game’ are just like the Air Jordan VII ‘Olympic’colorway but with an updated change; on the lateral heel, you will see a golden basketball heart logo – a logo first seen on the Air Jordan IX ‘For The Love The Game’. Besided the logo, these stay true to the original ‘Olympic’ colorway.

August 7, 2010 Air Jordan 9 - White / Black - Red

Set in the colorway of the original Jordon IX released in 1993, the upper sports a white leather upper with perforated pieces shaded by a black 3M border. Red appears on the shoes branding and on the 23 stitched on the heel below the globe icon. As most of you know, the 23 is an update to the design and I am sure will cause some controversy amongst you loyal Jordan followers. As previously stated, the sneaker is set to drop on August 7.

Nike Air Diamond Turf Black/Teal

No need to wait until next year, as select retailers are reporting that they received shipments of this colorway today and they are on sale for $105.
The Nike Air Diamond Turf in the original colorway hit store shelves earlier this month and were pretty much gone by the end of that same weekend. If you were not one of the few lucky enough to grab a pair, Nike has a little something up their sleeve that may make up for it.
The Nike Air Diamond Turf in a Black/White-Teal has been spotted on the streets and gives us hope a release in the near future. The shoe feature black nubuck to dominate the upper with white leather pieces just above the mudguard and on the strap. The black sole, which features hints of teal in the front and the back,  easily bleeds into the black mudguard. Teal accents are seen throughout the upper including the Nike branding on the heel and tongue.

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 QS

Ken Griffey Jr. officially retired early last month, but making a posthumous
appearance is the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 in Metallic Platinum and Black. This stone cold colorway dropped in Quickstrike fashion earlier this week and is now beginning to pop up at other shops like Wish in ATL. Another AGM1 was somewhat unexpected but does Nike have it in them to produce more special colorways? How about a Griffey hybrid like the Nike Air 1/2 Cent was for Penny Hardaway? Let’s wait for a few more Griffeys to release before we explore that route, but for now, cop this colorway at select Nike retailers.

Air Jordan 9 "For The Love Of The Game"

With retros still garnering much of the attention these days it’s safe to say that the Air Jordan Retro 9 “For the Love of the Game” is one of the most anticipated models in the upcoming pack.  Today we bring detailed pictures of the Carolina clad retro.

Infrared Nike Air Max 90

The best colorway to ever grace the Air Max 90 returns once again. For those didn’t know, Europe saw a limited release of the Infrared Air Max 90 in 2003. In December 2005, the Infrared Air Max 90 released with the HOA Pack and was widely available, but they eventually vanished after sitting in stores for months. Most people were able to pick up Infrared 90s for cheap in 2006.
Then Nike gave everyone a shot at getting Infrared Air Max 90’s in 2008, but the release was very limited. Now the OG colorway of the Air Max 90 returns, and is set to re-release July of this year.
The Air Max 90 celebrates 20 years of success in twenty ten, so this release makes sense. Infrared’s shouldn’t be hard to obtain this year since they will be available at Foot Locker and other Nike retailers.

July 17, 2010 Air Jordan Fusion 5 - White / Spice - Light Graphite

Fans of the Fusion fear not, Jordan Brand has not forsaken you. As if launching new color ways of your favorite silhouettes wasn’t enough they are also putting for effort in the hybrid department delivering some pretty sick color ways.

If these just so happen to be your thing or not this upcoming color way is done in a very refreshing white leather with a heavily perforated quarter panel. The black outsole sets a perfect palette for the red contrast stitching and teal accents that can also be found on the lining. The ice outsole and 3M tongue just seals the deal on these.

July 17, 2010 Air Jordan Fusion 5 “Grape”

While they may actually like Air Force 1s and Air Jordans, some find it hard to actually buy a pair. Well Nike is trying to fix that and will be releasing the Air Jordan Fusion 5 in a white/grape ice/new emerald colorway in July.

As many of you know, a Fusion is a mix of an Air Jordan upper with an Air Force 1 sole. This model sports the usual mix of the two, however, the sole is mainly translucent like the original Jordan V. The upper is mostly white leather with mesh panels, and the midsole bares the majority of the accenting grape ice and new emerald coloring. A “23″ is stitched into the medial heel, an accent that was included on only a few of the OG V’s. Look for these to hit shelves on July 17, 2010.

July 3, 2010 Air Jordan 9 - Citrus (Black / Citrus - White)

Yellow/Citrius is definitely the color for the summer and Jordan Brand knows it. Foot Locker has just released some photos of a new colorway for the Jordan Retro IX (9) in a black/citrus colorway.

Set to hit store shelves on July 3rd, this will be a brand new color for the IXs. Constructed of black leather, the sneaker is also decorated with several 3M pieces. The outsole is completely white and sets a nice base for the all black upper. However, the most striking part of the sneaker is the addition of the never before used citrus color on the Jumpman logos, tongue lining and “23″ stitched into the heel. Again, look for these to hit the shelves this summer on July 3rd.

Nike Foamposite One Eggplant

I'm sure the date is already marked on your calender but, the Eggplant Nike Foamposite One is set to release tomorrow, 3/6, at select Nike accounts. There are several accounts doing Midnight Releases tonight like the House of Hoops, certain Foot Locker stores, and certain Foot Action stores. Make sure to check your local store to see if they are doing a midnight release so that you don't wake up tomorrow to find out that they are all gone already.
Also, in my last post, I mentioned that the re-release Eggplant Foam features an icier outsole. Some commentors didn't see it. I hope the pic above makes this even clearer.
