Nike Air Griffey Max 1 QS

Ken Griffey Jr. officially retired early last month, but making a posthumous
appearance is the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 in Metallic Platinum and Black. This stone cold colorway dropped in Quickstrike fashion earlier this week and is now beginning to pop up at other shops like Wish in ATL. Another AGM1 was somewhat unexpected but does Nike have it in them to produce more special colorways? How about a Griffey hybrid like the Nike Air 1/2 Cent was for Penny Hardaway? Let’s wait for a few more Griffeys to release before we explore that route, but for now, cop this colorway at select Nike retailers.

Air Jordan 9 "For The Love Of The Game"

With retros still garnering much of the attention these days it’s safe to say that the Air Jordan Retro 9 “For the Love of the Game” is one of the most anticipated models in the upcoming pack.  Today we bring detailed pictures of the Carolina clad retro.
University blue suede and white patent leather bring together the upper on top of a white outsole.  Usually known as the Jordan with the deuce-trey on the back this version replaces MJ’s famed number with the pack’s logo.  If you want to be the first one on your block to don this pair they’re available early at Kinstor.

Nike Air Wavy White/Black/Red

Going back to the introduction of the Nike Trainer 1, the Air Trainer 1 retro, and the SC Trainer retros, the Nike Air Trainer line has been on a real good run. Infrared Nike Air Max 90

The best colorway to ever grace the Air Max 90 returns once again. For those didn’t know, Europe saw a limited release of the Infrared Air Max 90 in 2003. In December 2005, the Infrared Air Max 90 released with the HOA Pack and was widely available, but they eventually vanished after sitting in stores for months. Most people were able to pick up Infrared 90s for cheap in 2006.
Then Nike gave everyone a shot at getting Infrared Air Max 90’s in 2008, but the release was very limited. Now the OG colorway of the Air Max 90 returns, and is set to re-release July of this year.
The Air Max 90 celebrates 20 years of success in twenty ten, so this release makes sense. Infrared’s shouldn’t be hard to obtain this year since they will be available at Foot Locker and other Nike retailers.

July 17, 2010 Air Jordan Fusion 5 - White / Spice - Light Graphite

Fans of the Fusion fear not, Jordan Brand has not forsaken you. As if launching new color ways of your favorite silhouettes wasn’t enough they are also putting for effort in the hybrid department delivering some pretty sick color ways.

If these just so happen to be your thing or not this upcoming color way is done in a very refreshing white leather with a heavily perforated quarter panel. The black outsole sets a perfect palette for the red contrast stitching and teal accents that can also be found on the lining. The ice outsole and 3M tongue just seals the deal on these.

July 17, 2010 Air Jordan Fusion 5 “Grape”

While they may actually like Air Force 1s and Air Jordans, some find it hard to actually buy a pair. Well Nike is trying to fix that and will be releasing the Air Jordan Fusion 5 in a white/grape ice/new emerald colorway in July.

As many of you know, a Fusion is a mix of an Air Jordan upper with an Air Force 1 sole. This model sports the usual mix of the two, however, the sole is mainly translucent like the original Jordan V. The upper is mostly white leather with mesh panels, and the midsole bares the majority of the accenting grape ice and new emerald coloring. A “23″ is stitched into the medial heel, an accent that was included on only a few of the OG V’s. Look for these to hit shelves on July 17, 2010.

July 3, 2010 Air Jordan 9 - Citrus (Black / Citrus - White)

Yellow/Citrius is definitely the color for the summer and Jordan Brand knows it. Foot Locker has just released some photos of a new colorway for the Jordan Retro IX (9) in a black/citrus colorway.

Set to hit store shelves on July 3rd, this will be a brand new color for the IXs. Constructed of black leather, the sneaker is also decorated with several 3M pieces. The outsole is completely white and sets a nice base for the all black upper. However, the most striking part of the sneaker is the addition of the never before used citrus color on the Jumpman logos, tongue lining and “23″ stitched into the heel. Again, look for these to hit the shelves this summer on July 3rd.
